Lucky Canadian drives away in a Mercedes-Benz after sharing his personal
health and fitness story in What's your Bodylogix contest
February 2, 2011: For one lucky Canadian, the drive to lose weight and get fit not only
netted a healthier new lifestyle, but also a new high-performance automobile. Jest
Dempsey Sidloski of Lacombe, Alberta, is the proud new owner of a luxury Mercedes-
Benz C250 after sharing his personal health and fitness story in an online contest. The
contest was hosted by Bodylogix, the Canadian active lifestyle and natural health brand
that offers a comprehensive online nutrition and fitness program for men and women.

More than 15,000 Canadians entered the contest, which ran from May through
September 2011. Sidloski claimed the Grand Prize by sharing the story of his five-month
journey from 245 pounds to 179 pounds with the help of a new fitness program, a
healthier diet and Bodylogix supplements. "I changed forever," says Sidloski. "My advice
is to be positive, look for help from friends, stay inspired, get excited and feel
empowered." Secondary prizes were awarded to Eva Jamrocha of Maple (shopping
spree) and Shepherd Campbell of McKellar, Ontario (a Quebec City luxury get-away).
The national competition asked, "What's your Bodylogix?" and invited Canadians to enter
online at www.mybodylogix.com by submitting their own stories relating to monthly
themes such as exercise, nutrition and fitness.
Contestants used words, video and/or photos to depict their experiences, and increased
their chances of winning by getting their friends to vote online. Grand Prize Winners were
selected by a judging panel that included Bodylogix-sponsored athletes Miryah Scott and
David Kimmerle.

Thank You To Everyone, For A Successful 25 Year Anniversary Gala.
An evening highly anticipated by the staff and customers of David Morris Fine Cars was spectacular.

The live band played a wonderful collection of Jazz music while great food and wine from 6 different Edmonton Res-taurants including Allegro, Century Dynasty Palace, Ka-touki, Ruth's Chris, The Westin and Asante was served to patrons.

About halfway through the evening Mr. David Morris took to the stage with a speech thanking customers and staff for there loyalty and partnership and introduced special guest Tim A Reuss, Mercedes Benz Canada president.


Throughout the dealership cars were on show including the new C-Class coupes, the 2011 SLS, and a rare replica model of the 1886 Patent Wagon; Model #123.

All in all, the Salon and Gala was a great success and we here at David Morris Fine Cars thank everyone who attended for making it a success. Until next time.

In 1886, Karl Benz was awarded the first ever patent for his gasoline powered, three wheeled, "Patent Motorwagen". Very shortly thereafter, also in 1886,Gottlieb Daimler introduced his first gasoline powered vehicle bearing four wheels.

The first is the addition of our own "Patent Motorwagen". Mercedes-Benz has produced a small number of running replicas of the 1886 model. On permanent display in our showroom, we are proud to have the only such vehicle in Canada.
On occasion, we will start it up and enjoy the wonderful blend of the old and the new as she takes her place next to the amazing SLS Gullwing. Many motoring magazines and journalists have recently declared our latest AMG coupe as the "Car of the Year".
We will also celebrate our new 20,000 square foot display building, bringing our campus to over four acres, 62,000 square feet of facilities and 200 parking places. We can now showcase more than 100 new and pre-owned vehicles in the comfort of indoors.
In the fall, we will host a Salon Show, featuring a number of new and exciting models of Mercedes-Benz. Please keep an eye on our newsletter for details of this gala event.

On July 23rd, Mercedes-Benz Canada President, Marcus Breitschwerdt announced this year's winners of the Service and Parts Recognition Program.

We are delighted to report that our Parts Manager, Richard Paisley has won the Gold Award as Parts Manager of the Year and Nathan Johnston has won the Silver Award as Parts Advisor of the Year.

Congratulations to these two, very capable members of our David Morris Fine Cars Team of Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts.

In support of the citys latest campaign to help our citys panhandlers, David Morris Fine Cars has provided a smart car to the "Give Smart" campaign.

Locals are urged to have a heart and give smart and donate their spare change directly to social service agencies rather than to panhandlers.
Officials say the social agencies can provide resources and more long-term support to those who panhandle.
